Description
My name is Natalie, and I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. I’ve always had a particular interest in language and the written word and have striven to incorporate this love into my daily life.
Today, I hold a European master’s degree in Literary & Professional Translation from the Institute of Translation, Interpretation, and International Relations at the University of Strasbourg as well as a double bachelor’s degree in French Studies and Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. My studies have provided me with the theoretical knowledge necessary to ensure quality writing and editorial services in both French and English.
I have been living in France since 2013 and began working as a freelance copywriter, editor, content creator, and translator in 2016. Since then, have been fortunate enough to build a repertoire of vast experiences and, today, I specialize in the fields of humanities, art, marketing, communications, and literature. I have in-depth knowledge of SEO practices and my work as community manager for the international brand Burda Style for the past three years has further allowed me to develop my understanding of social media, digital platforms, user engagements, and brand awareness.
This blend of theoretical and practical experiences has developed my rigour, precision, and organizational skills as a freelancer and has ensured fruitful collaboration with my large network of clients from around the world. Working independently for the past five years has furthermore allowed me to sharpen my understanding of the numerous communication and organizational tools (Trello, Asana, Notion, Magento, Wordpress) needed for successful exchange with any audience.
I have a deep understanding of Google Suite and I possess Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Open Office, and Publisher for all other needs.
Thank you for consulting my profile. I look forward to future collaboration with you!
