My name is Bob Ndongala.
Let me tell you my story...
A few years ago, a friend and I had the crazy idea of opening a French pastry shop in England. He and I set up this project from A to Z: finding a name, a location, doing the paperwork, decoration, accounting, sales, cleaning, welcoming customers, managing a team,...
We put all our energy into it. We imagined we could do everything.

And you know what? We were wrong.

The shop ran for a few years, but we ended up shutting it all down. We couldn't make a decent living and we were exhausted.
Some would say it was a failure. For us, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives.

At the time, I tried to understand: why didn't it work, despite all our determination, hard work and good will?
And guess what we missed...
